Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology was founded in the year 1995. It is located in a 32.04 acre sprawling campus on NH-40 (old NH-18) at Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh.

The Department of EEE successfully completed the 6-day ATAL FDP on ‘Design and Practical Insights into Digital Controller-Based Islanding Detection for PV Grid Systems.’
As part of the ATAL FDP, all participants visited the Solar Power Plant at Sakunala, Kurnool, on 23rd January 2026 to gain practical exposure to renewable energy systems and plant operation
Dept. of CSE organized Two-Day Boot Camp on “Mastering Spring Boot for Enterprise Application Development”, to be conducted by Mr. Sadhu Sreenivas, Scientist, C-DAC, Hyderabad.
NSS Unit–1 & Unit–2, RGMCET organized an Awareness Programme on the Significance of Voting in Good Governance, delivered by Sri Narendranath Reddy, MRO, Panyam.
Dr. Kaliamoorthy, Professor, Mahalingam Engineering College, Pollachi, delivered a session on “Impact of Islanding on Grid Stability and Power Quality” during the ATAL FDP.
Dr. Vijay Kumar, Associate Professor, IITDM Kancheepuram, delivered a session on “Real-Time Simulation of Islanding Detection Methods in PV Systems” during the ATAL FDP.
Dr. D. Raja, Professor, delivered an insightful session on the control strategy for a single-phase grid-interfaced modified multilevel inverter topology for distributed power generation.
