Research Incentives

Incentives for Promoting High Quality Research at RGMCET.

# Category Activity Type Incentives Remarks
1 High Quality Journals Class-A: Web of Science Rs. 7,000/- (Single Author)
Rs. 5,000/- 		Web of Science Journals means only SCI/SCIE/ESCI Journals.

All Journals under the affiliation of RGMCET.

Paid Journals are not eligible for incentives for both Class-A and Class-B categories.

Class-B: Scopus Rs. 3,000/-
2 Publication of Patent Patent Granted Rs. 5,000/- All the patents must be under the affiliation of RGMCET.
Patent Published Rs. 3,000/-
3 Publication of Book Publication of Book (International Level) Rs. 10,000/- All the Books must be under the affiliation of RGMCET.
Publication of Book (National Level) Rs. 5,000/-
4 Ph.D Produced From any UGC-recognized university 10,000/- Incentive for the supervisor upon the successful completion and awarding of the Ph.D. degree to the scholar.
5 Conferences In India:
Only Tier-1 based IEEE Conferences held at least three times consecutively at Government or top 100 NIRF ranked Institutions will be sponsored. 		Full registration charges including TA & DA in India. All Conferences under the Affiliation of RGMCET.
In India:
For participating the renowned conferences held in abroad organized by any Society, European Union or Asian Countries etc. 		First author has to apply through the government funding schemes and support from AICTE, DST or any other PDA funding for approval. After getting the approval, if any additional grant is required then it will be sponsored by the management along with all other documentary assistance for visa process.
6 Funding Proposals For all Government and Private Agencies 10% of the total sanctioned grant in the ratio of 60: 40 to PI and Co-PI. PI should be from RGMCET
7 Research & Consultancy For all Government and Private Agencies 10% of the total consulting amount in the ratio of 60: 40 to main and co- consultants. Main Consultant should be from RGMCET
8 Organizing Conferences, Seminar, Workshops, FDPs etc. For all Government and Private Sponsored Bodies 10% of the total sanctioned grant to the organizers and his team members. Main organizer from RGMCET.
9 Attending FDPs Only at Government and top 100 NIRF Ranked Institutions Full registration charges including TA & DA in India All faculties from RGMCET
10 Any other participation like student project contests and innovative ideas for Nation Building Initiatives (Smart India, Digital India, Make in India, Hackathon etc.) Only at Government and top 100 NIRF Ranked Institutions Full support by the management including TA & DA. Student team and Mentor from RGMCET
11 For delivering open talks and seminar as per expertise Internally : RGMCET
Externally: Anywhere in India or Abroad 		Rs. 3000/- per talk for internal and maximum up to two talks per semester.
Full support by the management in getting on-duty leave in case of external participation. 		Only Ph.D faculties
12 Seed Grant for High Quality Research For promoting research groups, making infrastructure through banners and posters, purchasing basic essentials like printers, UPS, scanners or any other research related belongings. Maximum up to Rs. 50,000/- only once based on the potential and caliber of the candidate (Only PhD Holders) Need to submit research targets as per format to the Principal/Chairman.
