1. Assist in their academic pursuits through tested study techniques & concentration methods.
2. Equip youth with essential life skills through Personality development seminars, Lifestyle Management and Self Excellence Seminars.
3. Counseling and befriending to address the troubled and confused youth.
4. Training students with 'Simple & Natural Living, Logical & Positive Thinking' principle.
5. Systematically Educating & Training Youth with spiritual knowledge to achieve real unity and peace in the society.

The IE(I) Student Chapters were established in RGMCET in the year 2009 with 250 student members in EEE, ME, ECE and CSE departments. The motto of these chapters isto enrich technical knowledge and skills of engineering students by organizing more technical discourses, such as, technical quiz, technical film show, industry visit, lecture, seminar, group discussion, display of technical information and model competition, etc. With one more addition now the college has IE(I) student chapters in five departments, including Civil Engineering department.
Since inception, 2927 students have enrolled as members in five chapters with the active participation in technical activities.
Also our institution has IE(I) Institutional life membership(IM000575-6) from 17-08-2018.
ISTE, Indian Society for technical education functions with the motto of exposing students to realities and challenges of engineering profession to make them perform better in their career. ISTE student’s chapter of our college was first introduced in the year 1998 with 360 students as its members.
At present, ISTE student’s chapter is constituted with 2586 students. ISTE works with the principle that training is everything. We can get extraordinary results out of ordinary people by training and training. With this motive ISTE student’s chapter conducts competitions in various events like:
We have invited technical papers from UG students of engineering department and neighboring states of Tamilnadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and institutions of national repute, apart from all the colleges of the state. The poster highlighting the salient features of the symposium, the theme topics and the facilities have been communicated to various institutions and the response is very good.
With this enduring co-operation of the management, staff and active participation of the students, We hope to increase our activities and make the chapter more active and more useful to the students during the academic year. Thank you one and all.
"Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology" is a life member of Computer Society of India with Membership number "I02279". There are several advantages with this membership. The events that can be conducted under CSI include Lecture meetings, seminars, conferences, training programs, programming contests and practical visits to IT companies.
Being a member of CSI, students will be provided opportunities like
Participating in the International and national, regional and chapter events of CSI such as conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops etc. with discounted prices between 10% to 50%. students will be offered to join special interest groups for research promotions activities for selected domains.
J.N.T.U.A has sanctioned NSS (National Service Scheme) unit to our college for the year 2013-2014. National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India.
This club works under the guidance of Training and Placement Department. Selected Students of different years and different branches will be the members of the club. Students who maintain high percentage of attendance and marks will be eligible to participate in the selection process, which may include written test, group discussion and personal interviews.
Gen –Y is an association of literary as well as fine arts talents resumed from 18th August, 2012. It is reputed for its excellence, it’s endeavours of success in myriad competitions and its immensely capable of skills of organising debating and oratorical events that yield maximum participant satisfaction. We aim at proliferating literature in all its forms, which encompass language in all its forms, written, oratory skills. The primary objective of club is to explore new talents and impart the qualities to the students. Events such as,Theatre Arts, Debates and Competitive Exams Orientation, Expert Talks, Mock CAT/ GRE , Live Concerts and many more. It is an open forum for students to exhibit their inner talents. It is aimed to develop some traits like public speaking, Elocution, Essay writing, painting, photography. It is organized to improvise inner talent of the students.
RGMCET family developed a culture to meet the needs of society which is christened as RAGAM (Soceital Activities). The multifacets of the RAGAM (Soceital Activities) include nurturing the nature, conversing the energy, protecting the mother earth and service to the needy. RAGAM (Soceital Activities) sprouted with a vision to establish harmony in the society and anchored to the mission of leaving a symphony in the hearts of mankind RAGAM (Soceital Activities) extends its tentacles to reach the objectives set and the ray of hope in the eyes of the receiver as an expected outcome.
BRIEF REPORT ON SWACHH BHARAT PROGRAMME:
Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (RGMCET), Nandyal has conducted Swachh Bharat programme in Yoga Ashramam, Housing Board, NGOs’ colony, Nandyal, on 10-09-2017, with the help of NSS Unit-I and NSS Unit-II. Thirty two students and three faculty members have participated in this activity. They cleaned the premises of the Ashramam for two hours from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
