Course Name : Master of Business Administration

The Department of Management Studies was started in the year 2006 in Rajeev Gandhi Memorial college of Engineering and Technology with an initial intake of 60 students for post-graduation in Business Management (MBA), under the affiliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The department is having qualified and dedicated teaching staff members with three Ph.D holders and three pursuing their PhD in the area of Finance and HRM. The department has been certified as a Research Centre By the affiliated University JNTUA in November, 2016.Three full time scholars and one part time scholar are pursuing their Doctoral program. In teaching, the department has implemented the latest methods of imparting management education by utilizing Wi-Fi internet connectivity to all the students in the campus. The infrastructure provided is conducive in imparting management education. The approach to pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. All the class rooms are equipped with LCD Projectors.

The Department of Business & Management Studies is having an exclusive block and a sprawling campus with exquisite scenic beauty with well equipped library and latest journals. All the students are covered under mentoring and counseling system to maximize the efforts of dedicated faculty in shaping up the students as future global managers. The students are also sent for live projects in industries to get a real life exposure. The department has also been organizing seminars, workshops, industrial tour, cultural fests and other events relevant to management field from time to time and this provides a platform for the students to explore their skills and abilities to the best. The Department has established the HMA students Chapter being the first one in Rayalaseema. It has been running the HMA Student Chapter successfully and it also runs the Management Studies Club where community service programs have been organized.

The Department has acquired the Institutional Life membership of HMA and also the membership of ISTD. The department has entered into a MOU with Hyderabad Management Association and Indian Society for Training & Development. The students have also brought many laurels to the department by holding themselves in the good position in various management meets. The department proudly announces twelve batches successfully passed out from the college. The students of our department had successfully placed in various MNC’s and brought laurels to the department. The program offered MBA are Marketing, Finance and HRM specializations. The Department is also providing the facility for the students to know the industry environment by visiting many industries like JSW Cements etc. On a continuous basis, this institution is embarking on a journey towards excellence in quality education and research..
